Market Express: INI settings
Current development settings for Citronal, Rockarrot and Longrass stock limits, refill amounts and 60-, 90- or 120-minute production periods.
Market Express is in early development and is not publicly released. This guide covers the four current setting types, with separate keys for Citronal, Rockarrot and Longrass. Configuration names, balancing and defaults may change before release.
Current Citronal configuration
Add the following section to GameUserSettings.ini for a development/test installation, then restart the server or session to reload the settings:
[MarketExpress]
MaxStockCitronal=300
MinRefillAmountCitronal=100
MaxRefillAmountCitronal=150
RefillPeriodMinutesCitronal=90
Add Rockarrot
Citronal and Rockarrot have separate item settings. To configure both, keep a single [MarketExpress] section and add these lines beneath the Citronal settings above. This example uses the same stock and production values:
MaxStockRockarrot=300
MinRefillAmountRockarrot=100
MaxRefillAmountRockarrot=150
RefillPeriodMinutesRockarrot=90
Use Rockarrot exactly as shown: the INI suffix is singular, with no space. Each crop can have different values; changing Rockarrot settings does not change Citronal settings. The setting descriptions below apply to all three crops, replacing Citronal with Rockarrot or Longrass in each key. Other item names should only be used when a matching box/item type is supported by the mod.
Add Longrass
To configure Longrass as well, add these lines under the same [MarketExpress] section. This example uses the same values as the other crops; each crop can be adjusted separately:
MaxStockLongrass=300
MinRefillAmountLongrass=100
MaxRefillAmountLongrass=150
RefillPeriodMinutesLongrass=90
Use Longrass exactly as shown, with no space in the key.
MaxStockCitronal
Development default: 300.
The target maximum stock for the Citronal box. Automatic replenishment should stop when the box reaches this limit. This is a stock target, not a setting for stack size or physical inventory slots. Keep the value positive.
MinRefillAmountCitronal
Development default: 100.
The configured lower refill amount for one production period. It is not an amount to add every minute. Keep it positive and no greater than MaxRefillAmountCitronal.
MaxRefillAmountCitronal
Development default: 150.
The configured upper refill amount for one production period. Together with the minimum, it defines the intended replenishment range while the box has room for stock.
RefillPeriodMinutesCitronal
Development default: 90 minutes.
The time period over which the configured refill amounts are intended to be spread. Use 60 for one hour, 90 for one and a half hours, or 120 for two hours. This is a production period, not a delay between individual additions. The normal refill check is intended to run every minute; a shorter timer has been used during development testing.
For the example above, the intended production is roughly 100–150 Citronal across 90 minutes while stock has room to increase. Reaching the stock cap pauses production; the settings do not promise an exact timed total. Fractional amounts are carried forward between checks until enough has accumulated to add a whole item. Random refill amounts and the stock cap mean production is not a guaranteed exact quota.
Change the production period
One-hour period, keeping the other settings as above:
RefillPeriodMinutesCitronal=60
One-and-a-half-hour period:
RefillPeriodMinutesCitronal=90
Two-hour period:
RefillPeriodMinutesCitronal=120
Choose one value for this key; do not add all three examples to the same configuration. A longer period spreads the same configured refill range over more time, reducing its intended production rate.
Missing values and testing notes
The current prototype uses its development defaults when a key is absent or returns zero. Zero is therefore not a supported way to disable refills. Use positive values, with minimum no greater than maximum.
Only these four setting types are currently documented, with separate Citronal, Rockarrot and Longrass keys. Release platform support, multiplayer/save behaviour and final balancing are still being tested.
