From your ARK to your browser

A connection to your tribe’s world.

I’m building Tribe Manager to keep your tribe connected to its ARK world, even when you’re away from the game. An in-game radar pairs with your tribe’s workspace at tribemanager.com, bringing useful world information into a shared place for your members.

1

One workspace for your tribe

The website now has a Your Tribes directory, a shared map and a readable tribe activity log. Radar events retain their server and map context, with extra details tucked away when you need them. Account options include an avatar, timezone and date-format preferences.

2

From the radar to the website

Radar pairing and registration are being tested alongside map-aware location handling. Pickup and destruction reports have worked in the DevKit test environment, including a pickup test that produced a single report without duplicate destruction. Dedicated-server lifecycle testing is still ahead.

Nearby structure monitoring is also taking shape. Damage callbacks, nearby structure totals and a bed counter have worked in early DevKit tests. I’m refining structure identification, ownership checks and cleanup before treating those counts as a finished dashboard feature.

3

Find your server and follow its status

The website includes a public ASA server browser with map information, sorting and filters. Behind the scenes, cached server listings and world-day observations help investigate radars that stop reporting. A missing listing is not proof of a wipe, and suspected resets are flagged for review rather than automatically deleting your radar.

Administration tools now include radar diagnostics, reversible archive and restore, and inactivity handling designed to preserve independent workspace notes and photos. Real-server checks and further desktop and mobile testing remain part of the release work.

4

Next: useful raid alerts

The intended flow is one alert when an attack starts, followed by records of structures destroyed, rather than a notification for every hit. I’m planning website notifications and mobile/desktop web push for the relevant tribe members, with delivery preferences and quiet hours. Notification preferences are stored already; alert delivery is still to be connected and tested.

5

Radar coverage for server owners

The radius setting is wired into the development Blueprint, with cooked-server validation still pending:

ini
[TribeManager]
RadarRadius=5000

5000 Unreal units is approximately a 50-metre radius, or 100 metres across. The development logic falls back to 5000 if the value is missing or non-positive. Tribe ownership, radius boundaries and overlapping radars still need further validation.

6

Still in development

This is an active development project. I’ll publish installation instructions, confirmed platform support and availability once the companion mod and website have passed the remaining checks.

What’s taking shape

  • Tribe web workspace with a Your Tribes directory and shared map
  • Readable tribe activity log with retained server and map details
  • In-game radar pairing, registration and removal reporting in testing
  • Public ASA server browser with sorting, map information and filters
  • Account avatar, timezone and date-format preferences
  • Radar diagnostics, server-day observations and reversible admin archive/restore

The planned connection

  1. Place the companion radar in your ARK world.
  2. Pair the radar with your tribe’s web workspace.
  3. Use the dashboard to view information sent by the linked radar.

This is the intended workflow. Public setup instructions will follow release testing.

Next on the workbench

  • Raid incidents: one first-damage alert, followed by destruction records
  • Website notifications and mobile/desktop web push for relevant tribe members
  • Notification delivery that honours preferences, timezone and quiet hours
  • Base structure summaries, with nearby totals and bed counting already prototyped
  • Complete dedicated-server, ownership, overlapping-radar and mobile validation

These features are planned and may change as testing progresses.

Common questions

Is Tribe Manager ready to download?

Tribe Manager is still in development. There is no public companion mod download or confirmed release date yet.

What connects the game to the website?

An in-game radar pairs with a tribe workspace at tribemanager.com. Registration, location handling and radar event reporting are being tested.

Are raid alerts and push notifications available yet?

Not yet. The planned system sends relevant tribe members an initial attack alert and records destroyed structures. Website and mobile/desktop push delivery still need implementation and testing.

Will an offline server be treated as a wipe?

No. Missing or stale listings are not proof of a wipe. Server-day observations support review, and suspected resets do not automatically delete radars.

Can server owners change radar range?

The development Blueprint reads RadarRadius under [TribeManager] in GameUserSettings.ini, with a fallback of 5000 Unreal units (approximately 50 metres). Cooked-server validation is still pending.

The plan · Subject to change

What’s on the drawing board

  • Raid incidents: one first-damage alert, followed by destruction records
  • Website notifications and mobile/desktop web push for relevant tribe members
  • Notification delivery that honours preferences, timezone and quiet hours
  • Base structure summaries, with nearby totals and bed counting already prototyped
  • Complete dedicated-server, ownership, overlapping-radar and mobile validation

Compatibility

Early radar and structure-monitoring checks have run in the DevKit test environment. Cooked dedicated-server behaviour, map support and desktop/mobile flows still require further validation. No public mod download or release date is announced.

Pricing notes

The Tribe Manager mod is free. It connects your in-game radar to the web dashboard.
