Entry 006 — Some Assembly Required

Shelves, produce crates and one substantial cage. The market is taking shape; the customers have yet to arrive.

PALMREACH — ENTRY 006

Started building the market. Made shelves, filled produce crates and built a rather substantial cage.

The fruit looks excellent. The meat looks fresh. The cage is empty, which currently makes it the safest part of the business.

Spent most of the day making things to put other things on.

Then discovered I needed somewhere to put those.

There’s a market taking shape among it all. Somewhere survivors might trade supplies, pick up dinner and inspect something through bars before making a poor decision.

Still need customers.

Preferably ones who understand the difference between browsing and harvesting.
